Male d.o.b 29/7/24 presenting complaint = injuries from a fall.
Had back pain for 5 years which began after a parachute jump that went
wrong - landed on concrete and split pelvis, bones mended but still has
pain < getting up from sitting, dull pain, < moving about, pain
just above the coccyx, >>> rubbing and pressure.
Very loquacious and jolly, he made me laugh many times during
consultation - told me many stories which revealed how fearless and a
daredeveil he had been during his life - afraid of nothing and does
things for the experience, great curiosity - life is full of interest to
him, needs knowledge and questions everything.
Has diabetes 10 years, controlled by diet, feet get a bit cold with it.
Left school at 14 chose enginering - rose quickly to the top, left to do
computer management - starts jobs rises quickly to top of ladder then
leaves to do something else - a great doer, very enthusiastic, very
honest and duty bound.
Married 3 times doesn't like a lot of fuss but likes affection very
close to third wife.
Always busy, doesn't sleep much as there is so much to do no temper
whatsoever, cannot understand people getting angry can't cry but never
wants to extremely methodical, makes lists for everything, great
organiser, creates systems, keeps detailed notes of everything.
Used to smoke 50 a day + pies, soups, meat, salt, spices - meat fat,
really sour things, slimy sea food.
Sweats only on forehead warm bloodied, can tolerate it really cold,
would choose a cold climate if he could finds storms interesting sleeps
well dreams of flying and being weightless.
Sex important to him after parachute jump became slightly impotent,
can't keep erection, not frustrated by this but would prefer to improve
on this.
Remedy = Agaricus 30 c.s.d.
First follow up = everything much improved - has been on holiday since
last visit - not bothered to check his diabetes, feels ok with it, has
had dreams about being trapped in a building, has had some tingling in
the toes, erections still the same.
Remedy = wait.
Second follow up = feels fine in himself but the tingling in toes is
< and has had some more back pain.
Remedy = Agaricus 30 c.s.d.
Third follow up (by phone) "Feeling marvellous but can I come to
see you to talk about homeopathy!!!" (he wants to know more and
more - still inquisitve as ever).
This was a very enjoyable case and it still makes me smile when i think
how closely an open parachute resembles a mushroom!
